Bosun's Restaurant

For Bosun’s Restaurant on the riverfront in York, we designed a statement botanical entrance to transform the outdoor terrace and create an impactful arrival for guests.

We designed and fabricated bespoke planters for the space, which were fully built and spray-finished before being layered with tropical planting and trees in varying heights, textures and forms. The planting framed the entrance and extended overhead to create a lush canopy, adding colour and character to the terrace while creating a natural photo opportunity for guests.

Designed for a permanent outdoor setting, all artificial planting was specified using commercial-grade FR and UV-rated products, ensuring the installation could withstand exposure to sunlight and the elements while maintaining its colour and finish.
