Who will I work with?

Luby Hart Design is led by founders Luby and Declan, who remain closely involved throughout every project. Luby leads creative direction, concept and visual development, while Declan oversees technical development, fabrication and installation. Clients work directly with the people responsible for both the idea and its delivery.

Where is the studio based?

Our studio and workshop are based at Wood Farm in Hampshire, near Alresford and Winchester. From here, we design, develop, prototype and fabricate much of our work before coordinating delivery and installation on site across the UK and further afield.

Where do you work?

We work throughout the UK, with projects regularly taking us into London and across the country. We can also deliver projects internationally where the brief requires it. Travel, logistics and installation requirements are considered from the outset and included clearly within our proposals.

What kind of projects do you take on?

We work across retail, hospitality, commercial interiors, brand activations, events and private spaces. Projects range from botanical installations and planting schemes to bespoke fabrication, displays and complete spatial concepts. Every brief is developed specifically for its location, audience and purpose.

Do you work with agencies, designers and contractors?

Yes. We regularly work as part of a wider project team alongside creative agencies, interior designers, architects, contractors, furniture suppliers and other specialist makers. We can join a project at concept stage or work from an established creative direction and develop it through technical design, fabrication and installation.

What kind of clients and projects do you work with?

Luby Hart Design works with brands, hospitality groups, developers, creative agencies and private clients. Past projects span global fashion pop-ups, flagship retail environments, seasonal schemes for the Royal Parks and bespoke private commissions, for clients including Marc Jacobs, LOEWE, John Lewis and Nissan. Whatever the setting, each project is developed specifically for its space, audience and intended impact rather than pulled from a catalogue.

Do you take on smaller or private projects?

Yes. Project scale varies considerably. Alongside large commercial installations and national campaigns, we work with independent businesses and private clients on smaller bespoke commissions. The important thing is that the project is a good fit for the studio and gives us the opportunity to create something considered.
